<image:caption>Six-year-old boy Ismail Zulfic gets a high-five from his coach during the training at the Olympic Pool Otoka in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was born without arms and with a deformed foot into a society that often neglects and marginalizes people with disabilities. But his parents and an inspirational coach have helped him overcome his physical limitations and a fear of water. In 2017, after one year of training, he won a gold medal at a regional competition in Zagreb, Croatia.</image:caption>

<image:caption>People travel by tram that goes to the city center. Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina The whole world, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, is facing the threat of coronavirus (COVID-19). Some of the protection measures in Sarajevo are that passengers in public transport vehicles must have a protective mask, and the use of gloves is recommended. Drivers and other public transport officials are required to use a mask and gloves. Citizens entering the tram can sit on seats that have a green mark on them. Today, one of the real problems are individuals and groups who refuse to comply with protective measures. I often see how the fight against the coronavirus today has turned into a fight with people who refuse to change their behavior and who do not want to adapt to the current situation. This can be a big problem for small and weak countries like Bosnia and Herzegovina, which do not have the system and resources for long-term battles.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Singles - ELENA</image:title>
<image:caption>Elena is the oldest transgender person in BiH. Beginning at the age of 62, she has been in transition for the last four years. Invisibility, isolation, lack of recognition, exclusion, and violence, in both the private and the public spheres, are the biggest problems for the LGBTIQ population in BiH. Transgender people may change their legal gender in BiH after having undergone gender affirmation surgery and other medical treatments, but that transition process in BiH is not possible. The lack of medical and financial support for gender affirmation surgery for transgender persons makes this already lengthy process even longer, more complex and more difficult: both the endocrine therapy and the surgical procedures have to be undergone abroad because they cannot be performed in BiH, and the cost is not covered by the state-funded health insurance, which means that each individual has to burden the costs of their transition. She is now awaiting surgery in Belgrade, Serbia. In addition to all this, she says how after the decision to undergo her transition, the worst part was that she lost many friends. "It was not a plan to leave, but as I get older, I am becoming more aware of disturbed values of this society. People have accepted the fact that young people are leaving, everyone sees it as something better, everyone has come to terms with it. It did not bother me before that people think like that, but now it's difficult for me to think about the fact that in a couple of years I will live far away from all the people I love and appreciate. I am aware that it will not be easy and that this road is difficult and thorny. My parents support me, mostly because my sister has graduated from the faculty of pharmacy, they know all the things she went through during her studies. I saw what it was like for her.
